The following year, he studied pottery for a year at Daisei Kiln in Mashiko town, and after studying pottery in Korea, he returned to Mashiko and studied under Takeo Sudo. He built his own kiln in 1976 and became independent. Awarded the Gold Prize at the International Ceramics Exhibition in 1988. He has been selected for numerous ceramics exhibitions and has held many solo exhibitions.
