This is a short tracker wallet, entirely hand-stitched using Italian leather. The leather used is horse butt from MARYAM. This leather is from the high-density fiber area of the horse's buttock, tanned with vegetable tannins and coated with pigment, making it a black-core leather. In terms of texture, it has the suppleness characteristic of horsehide and is not particularly stiff due to the ample oil content from the "bagutta" tanning method. As you use it, the pigment will wear off, and you can enjoy the aging process as the leather develops character over time.
