It's not very noticeable, but there is some minor soiling. I displayed it in my car for a while without putting it in a case. It lights up when you slide the switch on the bottom. (Operation confirmed) The battery inside cannot be removed, so it will be shipped in its current condition. It came out of a gachapon machine, but the mini-booklet will not be included.
