DIY AC Power Cord for HP Laptops The AC power cord (three-prong) that comes with the product is thick and bulky. I modified a standard power cord so that it can be attached to an HP AC adapter. It is powering the device without any problems. This is my second HP laptop, and it worked fine with the AC adapter from my previous one. It's small and lightweight. The product is only the AC power cord shown in the first photo. AC adapter and PC are not included.
