Sony basic function tape recorder. Uses 2 AA batteries. Made in Japan. This product is from around 1985-1986, and its square design is Showa retro. It seems to have sold well at the time. The lamp lights up, confirming power, but the spindle does not turn. For its age, there are almost no scratches or stains, and the exterior is clean and glossy with a smooth feel.
