Drawn to these beautiful colors, I've remade this into a hooded haori, utilizing the texture and techniques of authentic striped Oshima Tsumugi silk. Carefully preserving the elegance and refined atmosphere unique to Oshima Tsumugi, I've created a piece that can be worn both in everyday life and on special occasions. For the sewing, I used a sewing machine and a lockstitch machine for areas requiring strength, and I meticulously hand-sewed areas where I wanted to achieve a beautiful and soft finish. I've put effort into even the unseen parts to ensure you can wear it with confidence for a long time. The hood lining is luxuriously made with Oshima Tsumugi, offering a subtle Japanese charm when worn or viewed from the back. Additionally, practical pockets are added on both sides, and cords that match the Japanese aesthetic are attached, gently unifying the overall design. This is a remade, one-of-a-kind piece, carefully crafted while preserving the original texture of the kimono. It's a haori that allows you to appreciate the charm of Oshima Tsumugi, as no two can be made alike.
