This is a brand new, unsewn silk (正絹) visiting kimono (訪問着). The base color is a pale blue-gray, with a gradient (ぼかし染) of colors including wisteria (藤色), green, and light blue, dyed in horizontal stripes from the upper front (上前) to the hem. It doesn't photograph well, but the outer fabric and the lining (八掛け) feature a "same-komon" pattern (鮫小紋柄). From a distance, it appears to be a solid color gradient, but upon closer inspection, the same-komon pattern is visible, making this a stylish visiting kimono.
