This is a thin gauze scarf. I believe it was sold under the name "Tenugui Stole." Size: Approximately 174 x 30 cm Morning glory pattern There is no tag, but it is probably cotton. It's a soft and comfortable fabric. I purchased it in Kyoto about 10 years ago. It has been pre-washed but is unused. There are many places where threads are coming out from the edges, but I think it will be fine if you cut them with scissors. You could also use it as fabric for making small items.
