This is a tonbo-dama made by gently wrapping dark pink to reddish-purple glass with a translucent glass like kuzumochi (a type of Japanese sweet). The dark pink color is like Kawazu cherry blossoms. Looking up, there's the blue spring sky. It's made with such an image in mind. It's a work that gives a sense of depth. Even if you try to make tonbo-dama in the same way, they will never be exactly the same.
