This line was abolished in 2006 and no longer exists as a railway line. The Hokkaido Chihoku Kogen Railway Furusato Ginga Line was formerly the "Ikuboku Line" that existed during the JNR era. Abolition: Officially abolished on April 21, 2006. Current Status: The tracks have been removed, and some sections are operated as a sightseeing railway, the "Furusato Ginga Line Rikubetsu Railway," but the section from Aikappu Station to Ashoro Station is not in operation.
