This is authentic Polish pottery purchased locally in Krakow, Poland, known as the "Kyoto of Poland." All pieces are handmade, and are characterized by the signature of the artisan who made them on the bottom of the dish. This is a square plate that can be used for various purposes, such as side dishes or dessert plates. It has the sturdy and weighty construction unique to Polish pottery, making it very durable! This is a set of two, but one of them has a crack-like mark from the time of purchase. It has been thoroughly finished, and the surface is smooth, so there are no functional issues such as water leakage, and it does not affect use at all, but the mark remains. I was told that these are normally sold in stores in Poland, but in Japan, it would be considered as a defective item, so I will sell it at a discounted price. Please check the photos.
