Since purchasing these deadstock items in 2024, I have cherished and maintained them, but I am now selling them to organize my collection. I avoided wearing them consecutively to minimize strain on the shoes, making sure to allow at least two days in between wearings. I consistently brushed off dust and dry-wiped them with a glove cloth after each wear, and used shoe trees during storage to prevent loss of shape. For maintenance, I primarily used M.MOWBRAY's Stain Remover or Saphir's Conditioning Cleaner to remove dirt, and then applied M.MOWBRAY, Saphir's Crème, or English Guild's Bees Rich Cream, alternating based on my preference at the time. (I did not perform mirror shining.) As they have leather insoles, I personally found them to be comfortable to wear. The soles are rubber, so they can be worn regardless of the weather. Also, the firm soles made a satisfying "clack-clack" sound with each step, making walking enjoyable. I have worn them approximately 80 times, so the heels are slightly worn, but they are still far from needing a heel replacement (please refer to the photos). As these are Goodyear welted shoes, they can be resoled and otherwise maintained, making them a pair of leather shoes that can be enjoyed for a long time.
