This is a sanshin pick developed by Mr. Niizato of Sanshin Urumaya. It features tips (apex) with different angles, allowing users to switch between them according to the speed of the Okinawan sanshin song. The tips range from acute angles (for example, for slow songs like "Nasake Uta" around 60 bpm) to obtuse angles (for example, for upbeat songs like "Kachāshī" around 140 bpm), enabling this single pick to accommodate a variety of tempos. It produces clear sounds in "Nasake Uta" and allows for fast playing without catching on the strings in "Kachāshī." A hole is made in the center of the surface of the "pick (diamond shape)," and there is a recessed part when held between the fingers, increasing the hold feeling and also preventing loss by allowing a string to be passed through it.
