This mobile ashtray case is a special order from Lightning, made by the brand "CHARGE," which is popular for deconstructing and reconstructing American baseball gloves from the 1940s-50s into leather accessories such as wallets and watch straps. As a matter of adult etiquette, a mobile ashtray is essential for disposing of cigarette butts and electronic cigarette waste, but there weren't any with a good American feel, which led to this special order project. This resulted in a unique mobile ashtray case unlike any other. CHARGE's reason for focusing on baseball gloves from around the 1940s is that the leather quality is very good, and many have a rich, aged texture. Furthermore, the details, such as the engraving of illustrations of baseball players, are attractive. For this mobile ashtray case, they commissioned an illustrator to create an engraving of a baseball player secretly smoking, following the touch of the illustrations from that time.
