A small lacquerware dish with gold leaf applied. This item was obtained by my late mother and had been left in storage for over 25 years. My mother practiced the tea ceremony, so it's likely she intended to use it as a sweets dish. There are some thin scratches on the surface, but it's unclear whether they are from use or part of the original design.
