This appears to be a Thomas Engine Collection Series 12, possibly the Ben engine. It likely doesn't run on batteries, but I don't remember for sure. There seems to be a switch on the top. Other than that, it doesn't seem to be damaged, but please understand that it's an old item, so there may be scratches and dirt.
