William Morris imported wallpaper, Fruits (Pomegranate). This is a reproduction of the wallpaper first hand-printed in 1866. Michael Parry, former CEO of Sanderson, beautifully revived it in 1975 using machine printing, perfectly replicating the original texture. This wallpaper is 520mm wide and 4500mm long. The vertical repeat is 54cm. Designed in 1862 and released in 1866, it was the most popular wallpaper of the Morris, Marshall & Faulkner company at the time. For reference, the third image shows the original hand-printed Fruits, made using the original method with color applied to the wood blocks that Morris actually used. (The real thing!) It's now only viewable in places like museums in London, but we also accept custom orders.
