This is a tooth from a great white shark (C. carcharias), with the longest part measuring 43.2mm, an upper jaw tooth. The enameloid on the crown surface is clean and white without any stains. Both cutting edges are straight, with a slight, gentle concavity near the bottom. The serrations on both the mesial and distal cutting edges are complete, with no chips. The serrations alternate between large and small sections in a neat pattern. However, this tooth is a replacement tooth, and the root is incomplete. While most of the root is well-formed, the base of the root is unfinished... therefore, it's classified as a B-grade item. It's a shame. If the root were complete, it would likely have been 48-50mm.
