As you use it, the surface paint will be damaged and peeled off, or become thinner, revealing the underlying brown color, showing the unique aging of tea-core leather.

About Horsebutt
This is horse leather manufactured by MARYAM, located in the Santa Croce sull'Arno district of Tuscany, Italy.
It is tea-core leather made by tanning the high-fiber density "BUTT" (buttocks) of the horse with vegetable tannins, dyeing the base color in a brown color, and then painting the surface with black pigment.
As for physical properties, it is vegetable-tanned, and the leather is well-oiled by the Vacchetta method, so it fits well, and it is a leather that shows the unique aging of tea-core leather.
