I haven't had many chances to wear them, only about 1 or 2 times since I bought them. I'm not very familiar with military pants, but according to the staff at the used clothing store, they are from the 80s or 90s. They have a wide silhouette, and you can adjust the waist and hem with the attached drawstrings to change the silhouette to your liking. There are no odors or stains.
