Here's an easy-to-make beret pattern. This pattern includes all sizes: 49, 51, 53, 55, 57, and 59 cm. You can make them for children to adults. (For adults, size 57 or 59 cm is recommended) All sizes are drawn on top of each other, so please cut out the size you need or trace it onto another paper. The instructions are very simple, so try making them with various fabrics! (It should be relatively quick to finish, depending on the maker.) You can also add a pom-pom made of fur or other materials to the top for a cute look! When choosing a size, I recommend selecting a size that is your head size plus 2-3 cm. (The size when worn may vary slightly depending on the thickness, stiffness, and hairstyle.) The hat is designed to be reversible. (However, it's not possible to make it reversible if you attach a pom-pom on one side.) In images 1 and 3, the hat is made with a 55 cm pattern for a head size of 52 cm. In image 2, the hat is made with a 49 cm pattern for a head size of 44 cm (1 year and 2 months old), so it looks a little big, but it's not strange. It's cute. You can make it with 30 cm each of the outer fabric and lining fabric, both 110 cm wide. You will need fusible interfacing for one side, so please prepare regular-weight fusible interfacing. The pom-poms in the images are about 4 cm in diameter. I will send you a hand-drawn pattern on A3 copy paper and detailed instructions that are easy to follow, even for beginners.
