This is a single-layered silk fukuro obi (formal obi) made in Nishijin, suitable for summer wear. (Please note that this obi does not come with a Nishijin textile certification label as the manufacturer has withdrawn from the Nishijin Textile Industrial Association.) The base color is white. The pattern features a continuous design of shippo (seven treasures) and flower motifs. The flowers within the motifs have subtle colored threads, giving it a very refined look. This is a perfect item for single-layered kimonos and summer visiting kimonos. It is available at a very reasonable price, so why not take this opportunity?
