Meissen's "Alpenflora." The Alps are the most impressive mountain range in Europe, and due to the differences in altitude and climate, a variety of plants thrive there. In the summer of 1999, four Meissen artists walked through the Tyrolean mountains, sketching the flowers that impressed them. They then brought their sketches back to Meissen and expressed the world of alpine plants as "Alpenflora." This series depicts a fusion of glaciers and the plant world, drawn in gray on the "Wave Play" shape. Various alpine plants are depicted on plates and cups. These are hand-painted, elegant items. First-class items without scratches. They were only occasionally displayed and have been lightly washed with water, so they are in very beautiful condition. This is the standard size of the Wave Play series.
