This is a leather brooch by leather artist Hideo Motoike (residing in Tottori Prefecture). My mother purchased it at a solo exhibition of his about 40 years ago. It's a piece about 4 centimeters in size and was expensive, so she kept it carefully in a case and just admired it, never wearing it. It has aged over the years, becoming somewhat antique-like.
