The spring is weak (?) and the button doesn't return when pressed. It can be reset by lifting it up with a long, thin object like a toothpick from a gap (Photo: 4th image). ②▶︎ Operation unconfirmed as there were no batteries at home (battery leakage present, Photo: 8th image).
