Herend - Herend Rare oval large plate in Apponyi Orange Unused, in near-new condition. Size: Width approx. 41cm, Length approx. 31cm, Height approx. 4.5cm Although it's a Western-style plate, the orange color makes it easy to blend in as a Japanese-style plate. I purchased it about 30 years ago at Mitsukoshi in London. Mitsukoshi London is no longer in business. I collect various tableware, and while Herend's Apponyi Yellow has a dinner set with a large plate and soup plates, the orange only has this large plate. I bought various tableware to use in Japan, as I often had guests in London and frequently used large plates. After returning to Japan, the frequency of guests decreased, and I had many dishes, so I stored it unused. The black line on the bottom in the last image is likely from the time of purchase. Although it is in beautiful condition, it has been stored for a long time, so I would appreciate your understanding of a layman's inspection. Recycled boxes may be used for shipping.
