The top and bottom lids can be removed without any problems. I will put the main unit in a plastic bag and back in the original box, then place it in a cardboard box I have at home and ship it via Mercari's Takkyubin service. I will put the original box in an OPP bag to prevent water damage, but I will not wrap it in bubble wrap. Instead, I will fill the empty space with cushioning material like newspaper, so please be aware of this. There are no pets or smokers in my home.
