First, pour hot water into the kyusu (teapot) to warm it up. (Warming all the teaware is fundamental.) 2. Next, transfer the hot water to the chahai (pitcher) and warm it up. 3. Similarly, warm the chahai (teacups). 4. Put the tea leaves into the kyusu. 5. Then, pour hot water from a slightly higher position. (To allow air to enter and the tea leaves to open.) 6. Close the lid of the kyusu and wait for the brewing time. (The guideline for the first infusion is about 10 seconds.) 7. The tea brewed in the kyusu should not be poured directly into the teacups; instead, transfer it to the chahai first to even out the flavor. This is also useful when dividing the tea brewed in the kyusu into cups. Recommended for those looking for wonderful teaware. Ideal for sencha, gyokuro, Taiwanese tea, and green tea varieties of Chinese tea (such as Longjing green tea, white tea, Zhuyeqing, Biluochun, and Hou Kui), and jasmine tea.
