Hand washing is recommended. If using a washing machine, please use a laundry net. Tumble drying may damage the fabric and cause shrinkage, so please refrain from doing so. You may see cotton flecks in the fuwara fabric, but this is due to the components contained in the cotton plant, so please understand the texture of the material.
