The small, geometric-like patterns embroidered on it are a metallic deep green, and they subtly shimmer depending on the viewing angle. I received this as part of a collection from a kimono-loving family member, but I don't think I'll have a chance to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale. I am not knowledgeable about kimonos, so I cannot answer specialized questions.
