Beautiful, like-new, stylish fukuro obi made into a tsukuri-obi (pre-tied obi)! The obi features a woven design in a yellowish-brown color with puffed-up grass and flowers, and a dyed horizontal pattern of rabbits, karahana (Chinese flowers), seigaiha (wave pattern), and waves. Gold is also used. The body of the obi is folded in half, so you can use both sides. The obi fabric is slightly soft. Suitable for semi-formal occasions to everyday wear. The photos show the obi paired with a separately sold tsumugi kimono. This listing is for the obi only. A tsukuri-obi will always maintain its beautiful shape! It also saves time on tying the obi. We have selected easy-to-tie materials for the string as well. Mainly made by hand from white silk fabric or juban (under-kimono) fabric. Also, a curve is added to the top of the otaiko (the back part of the obi) to create a natural look like a hand-tied obi.
