Vintage necklace from the 1980s. I'm not sure of the material, but similar items online suggest it's some kind of bone (photos 10 and 11). It features six elephants in the center, seven cylindrical parts, and small beads connecting the ends. If you intend to use it as a necklace, it would be a great accent for ethnic layering. Due to its moderate vintage feel, you could repurpose the parts into an Ichimatsu-san obi-sagari or obi-dome.
