I'm hoping to replace it. There are no issues or defects. The truss rod has not been touched and has plenty of room. Modern technology is incorporated into the details, and it's a lightweight guitar. I also purchased a white pickguard from the manufacturer. Both white (purchased from Xotic) and black (original) pickguards are included. The Xotic California Classic features a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, a flame roasted maple neck, and hand-wired Raw Vintage pickups, and is handmade in California, USA. Using carefully selected premium grade tonewoods, the balanced and organic rich sound from low to high frequencies blends with all styles of music. Although it is a lightweight guitar, the sound produced is characterized by a balanced sound from low to high frequencies that belies its weight. It meets the demands of modern players seeking vintage tones, using thin nitrocellulose lacquer to maintain the resonance of the instrument itself, and also contributes to the aging process, resulting in a sound and appearance that are both remarkable. The body uses carefully selected Ash wood and high-quality tonewood that has been properly seasoned. It is an Ash Body & Maple fingerboard model, and while acquiring a crisp and delicious tone, it also outputs a thick sound. You can clearly feel the resonance of the wood, and it accurately outputs picking nuances, from delicate playing to wild strumming, a sound that is hard to find in new guitars.
