The highly popular Goby scale is now made of wood, allowing you to measure gobies while they are still hooked. Depending on the rig, for a sliding sinker type, we've made an 8mm hole so you can measure the goby immediately while it's still hooked. I personally apply three thin coats of 100-yen store's wooden water-based varnish (maple) to deepen the flavor (photo 1). The second and third photos show the actual color, with one coat of varnish applied. As before, release size, karaage size, and tempura size are all clearly carved. Also, in addition to cm, this time we have shaku (Japanese foot), sun (Japanese inch), and bu (Japanese tenth of an inch)!
