Please use it when presenting matcha or as a mat. [Fabric] Pure silk. The base color is a pale, off-white cherry blossom color, with a subtle sheen and a patterned weave. Cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and chrysanthemums are carefully depicted, and the delicate gold edging is very elegant. The cherry blossom color is a subdued pale purple, and the flower centers are crimson. This is a lovely kobukusa to display and admire. Also, because of its calm colors, it is also recommended to use it as a mat to display your favorite small items. As it is a kobukusa, I have applied a core to give it a crisp finish. [Size] The traditional size of kobukusa used in the Urasenke school of tea ceremony. Some people also use it in kodo (incense ceremony). Finished size: Made with a pattern of 5 sun (15.2cm) x 5 sun 3 bu (16.3cm), but please allow for some slight variations. [Sewing method] Three sides are sewn, and the short side of 5 sun is a "wa" (folded edge). There are no knotting balls. ❤️ Since it is new, there is no crease in the center.
