The entire piece is finished in vermilion and gold, with wave makie on the rising edge and a gold nashiji finish on the inside. It is a very luxurious tea caddy. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, and it is in beautiful condition. The accompanying box shows slight signs of aging, such as yellowing and soiling.
