I bought and installed only these new parts to repair a used, junk electric violin and confirmed that it worked. However, I hardly played the violin itself, so I removed the parts and am now selling them. If you have a Chinese-made electric violin and your equalizer is malfunctioning, how about these? I couldn't find any dirt, but if you are considering purchasing, please check the photos yourself.
