Matsumoku-made Stratocaster type for sale. It does produce sound, but as you can see in the photos, the body near the spring cavity has been repaired with plywood and reinforced with masking tape, so I'm listing it as junk. The front pickup was also broken, so I installed a vintage Japanese pickup I had on hand, but the size didn't fit, so I expanded the pickguard myself and installed it forcefully. The truss rod cover was also missing from the start. Considering those points, it's definitely junk, but personally, I really love the clean sound of this Strat. Sunburst Strats are just cool, aren't they? And this aged maple fretboard... If I were to commission this from the Custom Shop, I wonder how much it would cost. The tremolo springs are low-vintage, and the pots have been replaced with new ones. However, perhaps due to the pickup's characteristics, the tone control doesn't work very well. The rusty pickguard screws and strap pins have been replaced with new ones. The strings aren't expensive, but I restrung it with new strings while watching the Hakone Ekiden. It's more than good enough quality for playing at home, and even just displaying it, it's a guitar with a lot of presence. It might be good for parts too. It sounds great! Please!
