I am currently sorting through inherited items. This is a beautiful, mottled matcha tea bowl with a rough glaze, a treasure from my grandfather's collection, along with other antiques, tea ceremony utensils, and vintage pottery. It appears to be quite old. A name is inscribed on the bottom. It was carefully stored in a display shelf in the back of the tea room in the storehouse, so I believe it is a very fine item. Size: Width 12cm, Height 7cm The glaze, which appears to be a beautiful mottled pattern of various colors on a dark brown clay, creates a wonderful, deep, and rugged atmosphere, making it a truly lovely item. Although there is no box, I will carefully pack and ship it. Shipping included. ◆Regarding my grandfather's antique collection◆ Antiques collected by my grandfather, who was an antique collector, have emerged from the storehouse, and I would like to offer some of the good items for sale. My grandfather was a hospital director in his lifetime and owned many works, including paintings and pottery by Living National Treasures, and he often boasted about them, so I believe they are all very good items. Neither I nor my mother have much interest in antiques, and we don't know which works are by whom or what kind of pottery they are. I don't know if the items I'm selling are Imari ware, Kutani ware, Shigaraki ware, or Seto ware. Even if they are wonderful works of art or very expensive items by Living National Treasures, I have no idea of their value.
