This is a set of 4 brand new, unused MONTREUX Custom CTS B500K Split 565 pots. Stored in a smoke-free environment. By mixing a special silver material with the carbon of the resistor, we have eliminated the "sound leakage" at volume 0, which was the biggest problem with past CTS pots. This sound leakage occurs because of the large residual resistance inside the pot, but the "CUSTOM CTS POT" suppresses the residual resistance to 4Ω or less, which was normally around 20Ω on average. The shaft uses solid brass, which has been confirmed to improve sound quality, and the bottom part incorporates the "flat back style" seen on 50's Gibson. The torque has also been set to a moderate weight by changing the internal grease.
