Rare antique with a unique design. The gold is raised and very luxurious. Yet, it also possesses a sense of refinement. The gold paint and gold relief are beautifully finished. Perfect size for espresso coffee. This was purchased by my family about 30 years ago. They don't seem to remember where or how much they bought it for. There are various markings on the back of the cup and saucer. ✤ There is a gold mark in the middle of the back of the saucer, which I believe means it's a second-class item, but the finish is beautiful. The condition is generally good, but there is some age-related deterioration. There are fine scratches and marks.
