This is a roughly woven fabric called "Southern Cross." It's a type of "fancy weave" with a cross pattern on the surface, resembling the Southern Cross constellation. Woven on a dobby loom, it has a moderate firmness and body, making it durable and easy to handle. This fabric can be used for various purposes, such as cushion covers, furoshiki (wrapping cloths), noren (shop curtains), curtains, and room dividers, taking advantage of its large pattern. It's 200cm long, so it can also be used for aprons, kappogi (traditional Japanese work aprons), etc. 110 x 200cm Please note that there may be some margin of error due to cut sales. Large, auspicious patterns are scattered throughout. The base color is navy blue. Because of the large pattern, I photographed it spread out so you can see the whole thing. The first and second photos were taken with it hung on a hanger, showing the front and back. Due to the unevenness of the cotton fabric, such as fiber clumps (slubs and neps), the ink may be partially missing, or the fabric may be peeling.
