~ Unearthed during a cleanup at my parents' house! ~ I found this tucked away in a box inside a Japanese chest of drawers. It's a genuine silk (正絹) Hon-tsuzure obi. This is a men's kakugo obi (角帯). It has the Yamato Kai (大和会) mark. The tassels are wrinkled, so I believe it has been used. There are some color changes as shown in photos 7-9 (I took the photos from different angles, but it's only in one spot). It's located at the folded part of the obi. Please see photo 7, which shows it unfolded. It's on the edge of the obi, not the flat part. It's 45cm from the tassels. Wrinkles can be seen as in photo 10. There are stains on the paper inside the box. The box itself seems to be in good condition. *Please note that this is a layman's inspection, so there may be some errors or oversights. Also, I am not knowledgeable about maintenance, so I would appreciate it if someone who doesn't mind the condition as is, or who can maintain it themselves, would purchase it. Box included.
