Please consider purchasing with this understanding. ~ Sadato Toyama ~ (Suyama Sadato, September 3, 1926 - August 7, 2009) was a Japanese sculptor. Born in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. He studied under Masahiro Sawada, a member of the Japan Art Academy, and received numerous awards at exhibitions such as the Japan Sculpture Association Exhibition and the Nitten Exhibition. He served as a Nitten Councillor and Executive Member, a Managing Committee Member of the Japan Sculpture Association, and a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Human Culture, Fukuyama University. He was active in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and many of his sculptures are installed in Kanagawa Prefecture and his hometown of Hiroshima Prefecture.
