Compatible with electric smelt reels. This is a tip for smelt fishing, made by shaving stainless steel to an ultra-thin profile. It features the unique, nimble flex of stainless steel. The guides are also handmade. The aluminum pipe at the base is 5mm in diameter. It can be attached to electric reels. The bites are sensitive, and there are fewer dropped fish. After use, gently wipe off any dirt and let it dry. Photos show weight loads of 3g and 4g. Field tested at Lake Hibara. The action, bites, and hooksets feel well-balanced.
