Handmade Wakizashi Tanto (Short Sword) This is a set of small sword hammers used to remove the handle (tsukamaki) of a Japanese sword. The part of the Japanese sword that you hold is called the tsukamae (handle). See the 5th photo for an example of use. Using a separately sold mekugi-nuki (peg remover), you tap the wooden block with the hammer as shown in the photo to remove the peg. Shipping will be via Yu-Packet Post using recycled paper.
