This item is from Hirata Kumihimo, a renowned Edo Kumihimo (braided cord) workshop known for its steadfast craftsmanship, such as "one work for a lifetime" and "one string." This is a popular Kakucho-jima pattern with nuanced colors. The price has increased, and it's currently selling for 19,800 yen online. The color is Iwaicha (brown), a khaki green & natural (beige) stripe. Although unused, unfortunately, upon close inspection, there is a faint brown discoloration, like water stains, around the edges of the natural-colored areas. There is also some faint discoloration near the tassels. Please check the photos. Personally, I think it blends in with the thin stripes, and if you don't mind, it's not very noticeable from a distance. If you purchase multiple items, I will discount the shipping cost.
