Set of two glass floats (bin-dama) of various sizes, formerly used in the fishing industry. These were traditional fishing tools, used as markers and floats to keep nets afloat on the sea surface. They are made of glass and have a retro, ramune-like appearance with air bubbles. Hand-woven rope is wrapped around the glass orbs to prevent them from breaking and to make them easier to secure. These items have been stored at home and have some minor scratches and dirt. I don't think there are any noticeable large scratches or cracks. There are fine air bubbles inside. The netting (rope) has aged somewhat, but it is made of durable material and shows no signs of fraying or tearing. The glass orbs are securely held within the netting. Please consider these items as old, long-term home storage items. Please check the images for condition and size.
