It is unused. There is no box. The kiln or artist is unknown, but it is a handmade piece with the mark "J.P." on the back (see image 10). It has a calm color and simple appearance that makes it easy to match with various dishes. The front has a striped pattern painted with thin black lines, and you can feel the warmth of the handmade work, such as the undulation and the shades of the lines that can only be achieved by freehand drawing. The glazed surface on the front has crackle glaze throughout, and I think the flavor will increase the more you use it. The back is unglazed, allowing you to feel the texture of the clay.
