The "Camper," sold under the Kelton brand name, was only produced for a few years from the late 1970s to the 1980s, until the company's factory ceased operations in 1987, and was only shipped to France. Therefore, it is now known as a "phantom model." The "Camper," with its versatility and robustness derived from its military watch origins, was originally a hand-wound watch and featured a one-piece case with a non-removable back cover to avoid the need for repairs in the field. Based on the historical fact that the case back was inscribed with military specifications, this re-edition features the brand name and manufacturing date engraved in French.
